WATCH: We finally updated our editor!

Here at Contractbook we pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking and omnidirectional business. Therefore it is important to us that we provide you with a solution that best fits that narrative and our values. We listen, and we deliver.
Of course, there are times (rarely) that part of our solution does not quite hit that mark and we identified that, this time around, it was our editor that was up for the overhaul. It was, to be quite frank, pretty shit.
Check out the video below for some information on the changes made and how you can implement them, I will run you through it.
At Contractbook we talk about being able to harness your data. To use it, not lose it! We talk about automation in your contracts and how they are fully functional and dynamic. So we need an editor that enables you to create exactly what you want - on brand, on point and on time.
And so, making the editor less shit we added some features that, admittedly, should be the bare bones of any editor, I mean so basic, that it baffles even us how this was not done sooner.
Alas, we are not MS Word, and, in all honesty, we are quite happy not to be.
Of course we still want to provide an editor that enables you to carry out small changes to the way your contracts look, but Contractbook steers well clear of any outdated tech, especially ones that could lure you into a PDF laden chasm.
It took some time - I mean, it was as if we had other things to do...
New features include:
Font styles align with your branding. Font sizes enable you to structure your headings. Use in line images to accurately depict people, assets or utilities. How about fully functional listing, now structuring your subclauses in a non-fudged way is possible. And lastly, apply those check boxes to areas you want completed or list some quick tasks - CHECK!
Still not a revolutionary stride, no recreation of the wheel here, but nonetheless, these updates will enable you to create and execute contracts that befit your brand and vision. Create your contracts how you want them to be seen.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the ssadettings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
